The massive catalog of airplanes that have played important parts in war, peace and movies, Top Gun for example, are spread across a huge 2,600 acre site in the arid Arizona Desert.  This is a place of historical and sentimental significance for Aviators and Americans alike.

I definitely have a visit on my buck list, but now thanks to Google Earth you can at least see the pictures for your self.  Here is the link to tour the museum http://www.pimaair.org/
